This website was built from scratch with
(not to mention the frustration, procrastination and sleeplessness) using HTML, CSS and JavaScript with
BootstrapStudio (thanks to GitHub Education) and VSCode as IDE.
I started working on this website approx. 4 months ago (January, 2020), when I
'accidentally' checked
out a .me domain and I decided to go all out
on my Web
Designing Skills, making one final touchdown before moving on to my career.
Thankyou internet, you're awesome!
Honestly, this website would have been just an average-joe website, if it
weren't for the Codepen
community,
providing
me a variety of content and inspirations to choose from. Also, I would like to give
shoutouts and attributions to all the frontend Devs out there making awesome tutorials
and giving away awesome stuff for free, especially CSS-Tricks, Codrops and of course the StackOverflow
Community, which
responded to the silly issues I raised. Last but not least, a profound thanks to W3Schools that helped
me believe that
anyone can make coding fun and interesting.
Technical details:
This site is hosted in GitHub as a part of GitHub Pages plan and is secured
& cached via Cloudflare, which is the best combo available out there for hosting static
websites (for free). This site has a flexible SSL proxied through Cloudflare
servers and is immune to DDoS attacks as the maximum traffic upload per visitor is
100MB, it's a bit of an overdo and I still don't know why I opted for it . Anything more, important? Yes. This site amassed a whopping score of 96 percentile on Google Page Insights for Best Practices and Performance Index.
Yippie! You've made it to the end!
Thank you for visiting my site , it has meant a lot to me. This site shall be improvised to a greater extent to serve dynamic content, in the future. Well, here it is; What is a Journey without an end? As a gesture of goodwill, I leave you an awesome quote:
"Look at the sky, we're not alone. The whole universe is friendly to us and conspires only to give the best to those who dream."
Just kidding, I also leave the entire source code of this website, which can be accessed through my GitHub profile, for free (attribute on usage, if possible).. Peace out!
By the way, did you try out the Dark Mode of this site? :)
